Rachael is Chief Procurement and Property Officer at Johnson Matthey, a FTSE 100 global leader with over 200 years of proud history in sustainable technologies applying unrivalled scientific catalyst expertise to enable cleaner air, improved health, recycle the world's valuable natural resources, and develop advanced new material for battery cells in hybrid and full electric-vehicles. We apply our cutting-edge science to tackle the world’s big challenges into our third century and beyond. 

Passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of others. Rachael is accountable for transforming procurement’s strategic contribution and positive impact on the business and wider society, enabling JM’s vision for a world that is cleaner and healthier now and for future generations. Rachael is also a Board Trustee at Pancreatic Cancer Action, striving to save lives through early diagnosis.

Prior to this, Rachael ran her own procurement and business transformation consultancy company. A CIPS Fellow with broad industry experience establishing and leading Procurement functions for FTSE 100/250/Small Cap and Private Equity organisations and clients including pladis, B&Q, Diageo, Sony, Capita, Serco, DS Smith and held manufacturing engineering positions with Unilever and ICI Paints.
