Simon Leigh is the Group Procurement & Supply Chain Director at Whitbread and responsible for all direct and indirect procurement activity, he is also responsible for the physical Supply Chain & Logistics in the UK & Internationally and sits on the Board of the Whitbread International Sourcing Centre in Shanghai, China. 

Originally from a manufacturing background Simon moved into Procurement 20 years ago. He spent his first 5 years in varying roles with BAE Systems in the UK & US before progressing his career across a range of sectors including Telecoms, Oil & Gas, Construction, Retail and in the last 4 years in Hospitality with Whitbread.

Simon is hugely passionate about the role of Procurement & Supply Chain and the way in which we hold a unique position that connects so many parts of our organisations and the opportunity this provides to influence and drive change.
